Did I mention that we have a new cat?
Her name is Shadow and she's a doll, except when she is relentlessly trying to let your blood for you.
Other than that minor drawback, she's become a nice little addition to our cat family which had been whittled down to the lone Wildcat.
He's been a lonely little guy since the sad departure of Bobcat some months ago. But Nature has a way of making balance where there isn't and Wildcat has finally met his match. A match made in Kitty Heaven.

Nice Puddies you have there Gilmour. Just like me and Mrs G you have some half tabby and raccoon tailed mutts. Good for you. I hated to read about the fate of Bobcat but the circle of life continues.
Thanks Greasy.
We were so hoping that Wildcat would take to Shadow and thankfully he did. We named her Shadow because for the first few days she followed him around relentlessly to the point where he was so far beside himself he didn't know whether he was coming or going. But after a couple of weeks he decided it was nice to have another cat around for the purpose of launching sneak attacks and having someone to wail on at will.
Both go walking in the woods with us regularly just like a pack of dogs. It's a cat's life.
How are your cats?
My big male Coon Cat just got over what I think was a cold. I'm assuming cats get colds since he was sneezing and listless for about two weeks. I came very close to taking him to the vet two weeks ago. I actually took in a clutch job on an Infinity that I had to do on the ground (brutal) so I could cough (bad pun) up the money for the Vet. He went from about sixteen pounds to around twelve or thirteen. It's amazing how such a big cat can get skinny so fast. He's rocking again so all is well.
Ashtray and Scooter (the two neurotic females) are being huge pains in the ass as usual. Thanks for asking.
I like the new blog and I see the spirit of the old one is intact. Enjoy your Valentines day and here's hoping you get what you want (or need). Mrs G actually got ME flowers and a new coffee cup. Yeahhh!
Later buddy.
